The EgyptInnovate platform is a digital ecosystem for innovation in Egypt, initiated and supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) of Egypt. Its primary goal is to make innovation the driving force behind inclusive growth. This platform serves as a meeting place for problem owners, solution owners, and resource owners. It provides a digital alternative for acquiring knowledge, learning, finding resources, and connecting across barriers such as language, physical presence, and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic
EgyptInnovate was honored with the ITU INNOVATION AWARD 2020 for Ecosystem Best Practice, presented by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a specialized agency of the UN. Currently, the platform boasts more than 1000 entities on its Innovation Map and has garnered 50 thousand registered users, ranking it as the number one source for innovation-related Arabic content in Egypt
