Job Role & Person- Specification

AfriLabs is looking for a suitable candidate who will take ownership of the role, and deliver on the projects given. More so, the position provides adequate support to the programme department to ensure optimal delivery of goals and vision of the organisation. The position holder will work actively with colleagues in programmes and other departments, AfriLabs community and partners to deliver assigned tasks (both technical and administrative). S/he will report to the assigned Programme officer while working directly and indirectly with other staff within the department and organisation.



  • Responsible for creating and updating program schedules and assisting in the planning and management of program events.
  • Develop project activity work plan and schedules in close communication with supervisor.
  • Provide assistance in planning and arrangement of meetings, webinars, and training.
  • Working actively with projects leads to developing quality project/program reports.
  • Brainstorm innovative ways of improving project/program output.
  • Work with relevant departments to monitor and evaluate project activities.
  • Contribute to research and proposal development sessions for funding opportunities.
  • Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.


Required Skills, Qualifications & Abilities: 


  • BSc in Business Administration, Management or any related field and mandatory NYSC year.
  • Must have completed a course in Project Management.
  • Two (2) years of work experience in project management or related roles
  • Proficiency in the use of technical softwares and project management tools

Experience & Skills

  • Experience drafting project reports and monitoring project progress.
  • Experience working on a donor-funded project.
  • Experience working with organizational tools and software.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheet, PowerPoint) and internet usage.
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Location: Remote.

Employment Terms: Full-time role.

Working time/days: 9 AM- 5 PM; Monday to Friday
